FAQ - some frequently asked questions

Where does Tana come from?

Tana Oy is a privately held Finnish company. Our headquarter is located in the heart of the thousand lakes area, in Vaajakoski/Jyväskylä, Finland.

What does Tana stand for?

The name Tana has its origin in the Finnish word "tanakka" which is used in the sense of something being robust, reliable and durable. It refers to the modular structure of the Tana machinery and their longevity.

I would like to purchase TANA equipment. How do I proceed?

Please refer to our global distributor list on Sales & Service and contact the Tana specialist nearest you. If you do not find any information for your country, please contact Tana head quarters at mail@tana.fi and our Regional Managers will be in touch with you at first priority.

I am already a happy owner of a Tana machine. Where do I order wear and spare parts from?

How does Tana show social responsibility?

Our operation is guided by high quality requirements which are also extended to our partners. Tana is audited on a regular basis. Tana is certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. We donate our season greetings fonds to human relief organisations, i.e. Plan International, Unesco and Save the Children. Our premesis are frequently visited by school and student groups and we often have teenagers familiarizing themselves with working life.

How can I apply for a position with Tana?
