Where does Tana come from?
Tana Oy is a privately owned Finnish company. Our headquarter are located in the heart of the thousand lakes area, in Vaajakoski Finland.
What does Tana stand for?
The name Tana has its origin in the Finnish word "tanakka" which is often used in the sense of something being robust, reliable and durable. It refers to the modular structure of the Tana machinery and their longevity.
I would like to purchase a Tana landfill compactor and/or Tana Shark shredder. How do I proceed?

How does Tana show social responsibility?
Our operation is guided by high quality requirements which are also extended to our partners. Tana is audited on a regular basis and we hold the ISO9001:2000 certificate.
We donate our season greetings fonds to human relief orgranisations, i.e. Plan International, Unesco and this year to Save the Children. Our premesis are frequentely visited by school and stundent groups and we often have teenagers familiarizing themselves with working life.
